Naomi Daniels

undergraduate (rice, 2027)

Naomi joined the Fazal Lab in January of 2024. She is studying the relationship between spermidine and DNA-RNA hybrids known as R-loops.

Naomi is currently an undergraduate at Rice University studying Biochemistry and Classical Studies. She plans to graduate in 2027 and attend medical school. She became a part of the Fazal lab to explore her interest in molecular and cancer biology and learn the skills needed for laboratory research.

Beyond the lab and school, Naomi enjoys playing soccer, going to the gym, cooking, and reading.
