Neal Reddy
Research TECHNICIAN
Neal joined the lab in July 2024 as a Research Technician. His current research seeks to optimize APEX-seq to allow for long-read sequencing and the study of transcript isoform diversity.
He attended Princeton University, where he earned an A.B. in molecular biology. His undergraduate thesis research under Ralph Kleiner probed the metabolism of epigenetically modified nucleosides in cells. Through this project, he became interested in RNA and its role in disease, along with using chemical biology-based approaches to study nucleic acids.
Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing golf, listening to house music, and watching the NFL and NBA.
