Ritwika Bose

CO-MENTORED WITH MUSTOE LAB
GRADUATE STUDENT

Ritwika Graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Richmond in 2019. While there, she worked with Drs. Julie Pollock and Kristine Nolin to modify virus like particles (VLPs) and create a β€˜viral sponge’ to sequester endocrine disrupting chemicals. Joining Baylor College of Medicine in 2019, she is now interested in developing chemical biology tools to study RNA structures and its functions. She is currently developing techniques to study subcellular RNA structures in collaboration with the Fazal lab.

Outside of research, she enjoys watching copious amounts of movies and TV shows and fostering stray cats.
